Council contractors here use it, with no problems - becoming more common place, as is 10mm to taps, instead of 15mm - its common in Europe, will be here before long. To refill it you need to tighten the drain valve back and switch your boiler back on. Don’t forget to open the radiator vent to remove residual air that has sat in your radiator while it was drained.
