On physical examination, morphea was described as breast erythema (n = 5), skin nodularity or plaque-like thickening (n = 4), skin whitening (n = 2), peau d'orange (n = 2), violaceous patch (n = 1), or atrophic rash (n = 1). WebTransient erythema appears as a prompt effect in less than 2 weeks. At very high doses, it is possible that edema and acute ulceration appear in the same time frame. Early effects include erythema, epilation and moist desquamation. In the midterm (6-52 weeks), dermal atrophy may occur.
