Unscrew the pressure plate bolts in a cross pattern in stages. Torx bolts in the R56 flywheel hub are T-55, remove in a cross pattern. WebThe average cost seems to be somewhere around $1,000-$1,500. Sometimes it can turn out to be much more expensive than that because if the dual-mass flywheel is damaged they can't be resurfaced. The actual clutch kit isn't too expensive but the labor is where you get killed on a Mini clutch job. R56 base model does not use a dual mass flywheel.
